Short Stories of Life [2]: The Death of a Good Man

His family gathered around his bed, how happy he was..to see the pride of his life around him, he would've never asked for more...

Grief filled the air, silent tears from here and there, he talked to them all: "everything is going be ok sons and daughters, every man ends where I am now, you take care of your mother."

A sob came out from her, the man who she loved is leaving her for good..she looked into his eyes, he smiles, she smiles back...no words could ever describe what they said to each other..without saying a word...

The sun was too weak to witness him leaving...so she asked the clouds politely to cover the sky. Grey they were, grieving, couldn't but drop tears, sad drizzles of rain..

The wind couldn't believe the news, so it blew by his house every now and then to check how he is doing..but it was too late to say goodbye..it blew harder than ever..carrying the echo of the moans of his beloved ones..

A good man has died..

Only one didn't cry, his wife! tears where far too shallow to show how she felt...she felt empty...she died too..inside...

The angles were prepared, standing in a line to greet his pure soul..the rays of sun opened an opening in the clouds to show him the way to where he belongs now...

Silent sadness filled the air..nothing could stop the world from grieving..but it grieved in respect...the sun asked the clouds to cover her again, so she can grief in peace..away from the curious looks..just like she did today..

Maybe a good man has died today..

Rest In Peace...
